Good outing for Karun and HRT ...

Sunday 13 June 2010: On a sunny Sunday afternoon in Montrèal, Hispania Racing, HRT F1 Team faught hard for positions with other teams on the grid again. Bruno Senna and Karun Chandhok got off to a good start and stayed out of trouble in the first lap. Due to other team’s difficulties at the beginning of the race, both drivers moved up places and kept on closing the gap to their competitors. Karun had good race pace all through and was battling for good positions during the race and finished a creditable 18th ahead of the Virgin Racing Team. The Spanish team had a real racing feeling today and was able to gain more experience on track.

Karun forced to retire from th...

Sunday, May 16, 2010: Karun Chandhok enjoyed his strongest outing yet in F1 until he was forced to retire from the Monaco GP after Jarno Trulli (Lotus) hit the Indian from the back. Karun was out on a fantastic performance and was in 14th position when the Lotus driver collided with the Indian and climbed the HRT F1 car. The Indian walked away unhurt but was visibly upset after what was a great drive by the Indian.

Spanish Grand Prix...

Sunday, May 09, 2010: Indian Formula One driver Karun Chandhok’s was forced to retire from the Spanish GP after putting on a brave display for the HRT F1 team at the Circuit de Catalunya. Chandhok was hit by Toro Rosso driver Jaime Alguersuari after he had just lapped the Indian driver. Damage to the right front suspension forced the Indian to stop on Lap 28. Jaime Alguersuari was handed a drive-through penalty tangle with the Indian driver.
